These wireless headphones provide a noise-free haven!
It’s 12 Days of Christmas! As part of this year’s Tech the Halls we will be spending the next 12 days looking at some of the most buzz-worthy tech gifts to put on your holiday shopping list.
So without further ado, let’s begin with Bose Sleepbuds.
There are many different kinds of earbuds on the market for listening to music, videos, etc. But what about for sleep?
Bose Sleepbuds are a new form of noise-cancelling earbuds that work to block sleep-disturbing noises. From snoring, to road traffic, dogs barking, and loud neighbours, the Sleepbuds’ underlying technology ensures the user is not disturbed by these sounds.
The Sleepbuds work like traditional earbuds in that it can play sounds to the users. In order to generate a peaceful and relaxing experience, the earbuds play soothing sounds (i.e. ocean waves, wind, country night, etc.) which work to counteract any external noises allowing the user to get a good night’s sleep.
Getting up in the morning is made easy as well. To ensure you don’t sleep through your alarm or fail to hear it, Sleepbuds allows you to set alarms prompting you to get up for the day. The earbuds will also wake you if their battery is too low.
Sleepbuds are said to hold two nights worth of battery power and are compatible with Apple devices iOS 10 or higher and Android devices 5.0 or higher.
Bose Sleepbuds are new and therefore highly sought after. They are currently in the prototype testing phase with a target release date of February 2018. That being said, you can sign up for the trial testing and receive a discounted pair.
Currently they are $150 USD as part of their Super Early Bird Pricing. See their website here for more information.
With our busy and hectic lives, the opportunity for a good night’s sleep at the end of the day is appreciated and anticipated. For those of us who have a difficult time relaxing and falling asleep due to external noises, the Bose Sleepbuds might be just the thing for your sweet dreams.
