Mimecast is Triella’s choice for spam management. It is used heavily in legal environments and goals well beyond spam management by allowing emails to be archived virtually indefinitely, allowing end users to sent mail messages much larger then the limit of their email system and allowing this all inside the Outlook interface.
While Mimecast provides strong and secured spam filtering functionality it sometimes can cause emails from legitimate senders to be blocked. Here are two ways to configure safe/permitted senders list in Mimecast.
Step 1) Go to your Outlook and select the Mimecast Tab then click “Managed Senders”
Step 2) Mimecast window will open and proceed to the Managed Senders – Permitted option then click + Add Permitted.
Step 3) Type and enter the email address or domain name and click Add.
Step 1) Go to https://login.mimecast.com. Choose Cloud and login with your email and password.
Step 2) After logging in, proceed and click on the Advanced settings and click Managed Senders – Permitted as shown in the picture below.
Step 3) Click on the Permitted option.
Step 4) Enter the email addresses or Domains, then click Add and Permit.
No matter which way you do it, Mimecast will then allow non-viral messages from the sender to arrive in your inbox!
