WDU14 is the upcoming update to GX4, and it is promising major enhancements to two key areas of the product: Worldox Mail and Worldox Web. As authorized installers of Worldox, Triella recently received a preview of the updated GX4 and the new features that will come with it.
WDU14 features a completely redesigned Web Server Engine and User Interface. Worldox Web 3.0 offers a clean, intuitive interface to access Worldox from anywhere via a Web Browser to look and feel like more like the Worldox installed client software – without the need to install anything!
Opening and saving documents is done with a simple click, without the need to upload and download files like the previous version. Right click context menus to speed operations, and the ability to create Projects while on the go make Worldox Web more powerful and efficient than ever.
Best of all, Worldox Web 3.0 will now be included FREE of charge with all Worldox user licenses! The firm automatically gets and equivalent number of Worldox Web 3.0 licenses for every Worldox Professional license owned by the firm.
WDU14 will also offer major enhancements to Worldox’s email management features. Among the new enhancements, users will be able to create Outlook folders and link them to Worldox matters for drag and drop filing, as well as filing messaging through Outlook Web Access or mobile devices. These features have never before been available, and will make it easier to get email based information into the Document Management system from anywhere. In addition, predictive filing will make it faster to profile emails as the system learns and adapts automatically to determine where emails belong.
Both Worldox Web 3 and Worldox Mail 2 will be free of charge to existing GX4 customers under a maintenance agreement, and can be implemented for you in the near future!
